Water heaters

Hot water back, often same-day

Repair, replacement, and tankless upgrades for Wasatch Front homes, with clear numbers on repair versus replace before you decide.

Cold shower this morning?

Thermocouples, elements, and gas valves are common fixes, and quick ones.

Tank leaking underneath?

Water from the tank body means it's done. We'll confirm before you buy anything.

Rumbling or popping?

Sediment from Utah's hard water. A flush may buy years if the tank is still healthy.

How it works

From cold to fixed in four steps

  1. 1

    Tell us the symptoms

No hot water, not enough, rusty color, rumbling, or water on the floor. Each points somewhere different.

  2. 2

    Straight diagnosis

Your plumber inspects the unit and gives you findings plus repair-vs-replace math, in plain language.

  3. 3

    You pick the path

Approved price before work starts. Repair, standard replacement, or a tankless upgrade. Your call, no pressure.

  4. 4

    Hot water, verified

We test temperature and pressure, walk you through the work, and haul the old unit away.

Tank vs. tankless

A straight comparison

Tankless is a great fit for some Utah homes and a poor one for others. Hard water raises tankless maintenance needs, and older gas lines sometimes need upsizing. We'll tell you which side of that line your house is on before you spend replacement money.

Tank

Lower up-front cost, simple maintenance, proven in hard-water homes with annual flushing.

Tankless

Endless hot water and wall-mounted space savings; wants softer water and right-sized gas supply.

Either way

Correct sizing and a clean, code-compliant install matter more than the brand on the sticker.

FAQs

Water heater questions, answered

How long does a water heater last in Utah?

Tank units commonly last 8 to 12 years; hard water shortens that, and much of the Wasatch Front has hard water. Annual flushing and a healthy anode rod stretch the lifespan meaningfully.

Repair or replace mine?

Age and symptom decide it. Leaks from the tank body mean replacement; a failed element, thermostat, or valve on a younger unit usually means repair. We show you the numbers for both paths before you choose.

Tank or tankless?

Tankless gives endless hot water and space savings but costs more up front and cares a lot about water hardness and gas line sizing. We'll look at your usage, your utility setup, and your budget - and tell you honestly if tankless doesn't pencil out for your house.

Can you install it today?

Often, yes. Standard tank swaps are frequently same-day when you call in the morning. Availability depends on the schedule, so call early: 801-218-2225.

What size do I need?

Household size, bathing habits, and recovery rate matter more than matching whatever was there before. A 40-gallon that was always too small should not be replaced with another 40-gallon.
