AC warning signs
Most July breakdowns announced themselves in June. Here's what to listen and look for.
- Air from the vents is moving but not cold
- Ice on the refrigerant lines or outdoor unit
- Grinding, buzzing, or clicking from the condenser
- The system starts, stops, and starts again in minutes
- Some rooms are freezing while others bake
- A power bill spike with no change in habits

FAQs
Good questions, straight answers
My AC runs constantly but the house stays warm. Why?
Usual suspects: low refrigerant from a leak, a dirty coil, a failing capacitor, or an undersized/aging system. A diagnostic pins it down, and you'll see the findings and the price before we touch a wrench.
Why is there ice on my AC lines in July?
Ice means airflow or refrigerant trouble: a clogged filter, a failing blower, or a leak. Turn the system off so it can thaw and give us a call; running it iced-up can damage the compressor.
How long should an AC last in Utah?
Utah's dry climate is relatively kind to equipment, and well-maintained systems commonly reach 12 to 15 years or more. Annual maintenance is the biggest factor you control.
Do you service all brands?
Yes. Our techs work on all major brands regardless of who installed the system. [VERIFY BRAND/WARRANTY POLICY]
