No heat? Let's change that.
From a furnace that won't start to one that never stops, our Utah techs diagnose it clearly and fix it with the price agreed before work begins.
Won't turn on at all
Power, ignition, or control board. Check the thermostat and furnace switch first, then call us.
Runs but blows cool air
Ignition failure, a gas supply issue, or a limit switch tripping. Diagnosable in one visit.
Loud bangs or squeals
Delayed ignition or a failing blower, both worth addressing before they take something else with them.

What a Golden Rule diagnostic looks like
We test rather than guess: ignition sequence, flame sensor, gas pressure, blower amp draw, venting, and safety controls. You get the findings in plain language, the fix with a firm price, and the why behind both. If the furnace is near end-of-life, you'll see the repair-versus-replace math, not a sales pitch.
FAQs
Furnace questions, answered
My furnace turns on, then shuts off after a minute. Why?
Short-cycling is usually a safety system doing its job: a dirty flame sensor, a clogged filter overheating the unit, or a venting problem. A diagnostic pins it down - often a fast, inexpensive fix when caught early.
What should I check before calling?
Three things: the thermostat is set to heat and above room temperature, the furnace switch (looks like a light switch near the unit) is on, and the filter isn't clogged solid. Those three resolve a surprising share of no-heat calls for free.
Is a cracked heat exchanger really that serious?
Yes. A cracked heat exchanger can allow combustion gases, including carbon monoxide, into your air. If we find one, we show you the crack - camera footage or photos, not just a scary sentence - and go through options.
Do you repair all furnace brands?
All major brands, regardless of installer. [VERIFY BRAND/WARRANTY POLICY]
When does repair stop making sense?
When the repair cost is high against the furnace's remaining life. We'll show the math side-by-side with replacement numbers, and the decision stays yours.
